DAY- ONE -BAGDOGRA/NJP - GANGTOK
DAY TWO- EXCURSION TO TSHANGU LAKE AND BABA MANDIR (NATHULA OPTIONAL)
After breakfast excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) a high-altitude sacred lake & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) It is located in the Gangtok capital city. The way also drives to Nathula Pass, which connects India’s Tibet Autonomous Region. It is an optional tour and the permit is subjected to availability within 24hrs (Supplement Cost). Transfer back to Gangtok and overnight stay at Gangtok.
Note: Monday and Tuesday Nathula Pass is closed.
DAY THREE-GANGTOK - DARJEELING
After breakfast, Gangtok’s half-day sightseeing consists of the following: Tashi View Point, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, DoDrul Chorten, Banjhakri waterfalls. Later in the afternoon transfer to Darjeeling, West Bengal ‘The Queen of Hills’. Upon reaching check into the hotel & overnight stay at Darjeeling.
DAY FOUR-DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING WITH TIGER HILL
Early Morning (at around 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (subject to clear weather), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
After breakfast drive to Bagdogra Airport or NJP railway station for your onward destination.
